Anyways, on topic - I never use the 'popup' thingy, I am so used to doing all of my vbb tags manually. 90% of the time I put some text in there, just because I think it looks better
btw, it is like this:
[*url=http://www.blahblah.com/linky/]Your Text here[*/url] (w/o asterisks). Pretty simple, really. Altho not so simple as just pasting, and I believe some people just don't care to do the extra work.
I also understand your point regarding thread titles, I prefer them to be descriptive as well. Some people just don't think it thru, I guess.
