the system parses URLS for you so sometimes you don't get the opportunity for putting in an actual word.
I understand your point, but it's equal to the subject of threads.... "Look at this".."I found this" "This thread is for..." those are equally UNDESCRIPTIVE
But I can tell you that if the person who is BOTHERING to put in a link as a URL especially a Moderator will be pointing you to something relavent to the thread topic.
