OK, all set. I tried the MAC spoofing and that didn't work. I called Cox again and they said that they were not receiving a signal from the router. The had me pull the power in the router and then they remotely reset the modem. I plugged the router back in and now there is internet! I did that numerous times but I guess they did something special on their end to fix this. Hmmm. I wish I knew.
