My last boyfriend had a thing about biting as well, I was quite amazed that he had not left any marks. He would bite quite hard. Well, one day I payed closer attention(not getting lost in the sensation), and I realized that he may have bit hard but he would slowly move his bites to a different location. That was most likely why he didn't leave any marks. Try that.
