I work for Mercedes Benz and I will say that some of the posts I have read are HALARIOUS!!
The main problems as of late are software issues on the new cars especially the new E class.
It's not the older models that are giving MBZ the problems it's the new models with all the shit they put on them......tooooo many programs for the programmers and they can't get their shit together.
Hey...when you build the best and the safest cars on the road you're going to have problems, but when you start to OVER BUILD them...you're going to have MANY PROBLEMS.
The real problem is that Mercedes is trying to put affordable MBZ'z on the road for everyone and they're FUCKING THEMSELVES as they travel down that road.
The funny thing about all this is now we have customers coming out of the woodworks saying they have LEMONS and want us to buy them back after they've been driving them for two to four years with barely any problems except now that maybe their radio or some other small thing is broke they call it a lemon...LMFAO.
I see and look at all the buybacks at our dealership and from other dealerships at the auction each month and I can promise you I have yet to come across an S Class that had the transmission problems described above, or hoods rusting underneath....the main problems is the computers on the cars and the programs running them...THEY SUCK!!
I'm not defending them and hell these cars pay me a nice little salary each month....a very nice salary
I will tell you all a funny story though(sorry I can't mention any names) but one star had their E-500 bought back by MBZ..not because it was a lemon but because it was one of the E classes that could not be retrofitted with the navigation system as promised when the new body E classes were first sold and told to the customers that MBZ would add the Navi system later.
Well anyhoo...this star..NOT A BIG ONE in my book...told a person that she does a show with that we did a dealer buy back so this PRICK FUCK(and he really is) called us and demanded we buy his (not even an E class) back after he's been driving with no problems for 14 months now and when we said "NO" he got pissed because he felt he was a bigger star then the person who he works with who's car we bought back.
I wish I could tell you HIS name, but I value my job and the money
but if you read real closely you'll figure out who this DICK is.
Anyhoo....if you want to purchase one of these buybacks at a really LOW price...let me know and I'll get you one at auction.
My buddy bought the new E-55 that is going for 10k over sticker for the low low low price of 51K and he's had no problems yet.
