People who rely strictly on the reviews of these so called 'professionals' need to look past their reviews and give some games a chance regardless. Now that that is out of the way, on to the topic at hand, I just bought this game and love it already.

You missed my point! How are gamers supposed to look past the reviewers and give games a chance? Do you have enough money to go and shell out $50 for every game that looks interesting? If I bought every damn game that I thought looked neat, I'd end up with The Bouncer, Devil May Cry 2, and Unlimited Saga. I don't want to waste my money on shitty games. I don't want to waste time to find out if a game has major flaws.
The only way to bypass this is to read someone else's review of a game. If they've never let me down, then what's the bad aspects of trusting them? Hey, if you have enough money to spend to find out if games suck or not, then be my guest. I spend my money on games that are quality, and it's led me to the fact that I haven't played a bad game in a really, really long time.
