I was just trying to stress a point of unprotected versus "safer" sex. What I meant to say was "Reduced chances of sharing communicable diseases," if you want to get into semantics. People actually need to worry more about misusing condoms than about the STIs that are communicable even with a condom on. Either way, it's pretty pointless to be nitpicking this since the person doesn't use them for anal. He might as well not use them at all because it's that pointless.
His logic: I'll use a condom for vaginal sex, but not anal because it's pointless.
This is similar to his logic: I'll use a condom for anal sex, but I'll rub my open wound against hers because it's pointless.
