okay, I finally have one that's worth posting..
My son's 9 and in Little league baseball.. Tonight, his coach had a special guest, a former pro pitcher, who came and gave the kids tips on throwing, and so forth, but at the end of the practice, he threw 3 pitches to each kid. Much faster than anything they'd ever swing at. (not pro-speed, but damned fast).. My sone hit all 3 pitches, fowling the first, a good base hit on the 2nd, and out of the field on the 3rd.. He's never played before, and this is their 3rd practice.. Some of the other kids got it once, but nobody else hit it more than one time. All the dads and coaches got REAL excited...
this may be a fun thing for me as a dad afterall...
