Shoes
Echos ring loudly throughout my ears
Voices cry out of things I still fear
It was'nt that long that it was ok
I whisper again it's time I should pay
A blink of my eyes tells me I'm still awake
I search my soft brain to see whats at stake
Then in an instant my worries are gone
All will be well I shudder and yawn
I stand and look forward today it is real
For this is the way, I know I feel
I break down and cry, I've got growing pains
My life is ok, I've got lots to gain
This forest is noisy, I hear lots of sounds
A light at the end, I know will be found
The meaning of life? I wonder my self
The journeys quite nice, And I have my health
Today I'm not mad that my sore feet hurt
I'm thankful for shoes, that keep out the dirt
