That turn doesn't really look like anything that should cause a problem. Its not real steep, not even a very sharp turn and doesn't appear to have anything scary coming up. I just don't see how that could happen unless the driver did something really stupid. But hey, half the car is still good
Looks like the engine might have survived, save for a few dings. I'd be willing to take that car off his hands if he wanted
