I just rented Gallop Racer 2003 (PS2) from Gamefly a few days ago for my wife. She likes the horse games so I figured I would surprise her. The thing is, as I was helping her learn to play, I got majorly addicted.

Now we basically have to fight eachother for a turn, and over the weekend we didn't go to bed before 5:00 in the morning.

It's somewhat like an RPG. You basically buy and race horses, but its actually really deep. What hooked me was the breeding thing. Once you retire a horse you then have the option to breed it to create your own original horses. I won't go into more detail unless somebody really wants me to.

Just trust me on this one, once you get into it it's highly addictive. I just hope to God that I'm not the only guy here thats addicted to a horsey game.
