Punk/Hardcore (NOFX, Snuff, Anti-Flag, Refused, Lagwagon, Real McKenzies, Catharsis, Newborn, AFI)
European death/black Metal (Opeth, Vintersorg, Borknagar, Finntroll, Dimmu Borgir)
Alt Metal (Tool, Perfect Circle, Deftones and System of a Down (even though Deftones and System of a Down are more new-metalish)
70ies Rock (Jethro Tull, Yes, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin)
Celtic (Loreena McKennitt, Clannad)

+ Some bands I like even though I really don't like their genre (Blind Guardian, Rage Against the Machine, The International Noise Conspiracy)
