If I like this game enough I'll probably buy a Gamecube (you hear that Nintendo, the fate of your income rests on this game!)

I don't enjoy wasting money on games without knowing if they're good or not. Why waste $50 on a shitty game? Why waste $5 on a rental for a shitty game? Not many people out there can play any videogame at will without paying (damn Electronics Boutique workers!
)
I've been buying videogames based on Electronic Gaming Monthly for 8 years. They haven't let me down once since I've been a subscriber. I trust them moreso than IGN, but I've rarely disagreed with IGN on reviews as well. If you can find a game review source that you trust and know, then it saves gamers a lot of time and money on shitty games. Keep in mind that I don't trust any reviewer out there; I trust the ones I'm used to and that have never failed me. That's one of the reasons I don't use
www.metacritic.com . Some reviewers on there have given Final Fantasy 7 a 50 out of 100 saying it is the worst game of 1998. Do you really want to trust a critic like that? Nope!
