If only it was that simple.
There is no avaoiding it.
Even
before I was married, when we were just engaged, people were asking when we planned on having children. Whenever I meet new people and they learn that I am married, the child-bearing question is the next thing out of their mouths. People nag and nag and nag, even though it has been clearly stated that we do not intend to have children. Really, a week does not go by without somebody asking. It is SO annoying! I wish so much that I could just avoid the topic but, when someone asks you a direct question, you kind-of need to respond. I'm not going to lie, the decision is quite clear.
People
expect you to get married and then have kids. It does not take long for people to start asking questions when they don't see babies being made.
