Trying to remember to NOT go to South Padre Island while that bunch of drunks are down there..
We have at least two or three that think they can drink a whole fifth and then fly from an eight floor balcony....they go home in a body bag....
They have really come down hard on these young ones that go across the border and come back with booze...first they must be 21 and they are only allowed two fifths --IF they live outside of Texas...one if they have a Texas I.D.
The traffic gets so bad from the traffic cruising the strip that the residents have even asked the city to limit the number of cars and people that are allowed across the causeway---deemed impossible, but will be studied for the future...
Then there is the other side...bus loads of teens come into the valley and spend a week or two in Mexico building homes and churchs for the poor, and God knows there are a lot of them...
