I have been on Depo for slightly over five years now. I love it. I actaully lost weight when I went on it which my doctor comments is extreamly rare but, weight fluxuation can go either way as a side-effect. It did kill my sex drive BUT, only for the first 3 to 6 months that I was on it. I have had no side effects or menstral cycle since. I think about birth control every 3 months and the effective rate is better than 99%. I am quite happy with my decision to chose Depo-Prevara.
