I've had several favorites over the years (been gaming since the days of PONG), it's hard to pick just one. I think my favorite by era would be...
late 70's - mid 80's: River Raid (Atari2600)
late 80's - early 90's: Nobonaga's Ambition (NES)
mid 90's - late 90's: Civilization II (PC)
early 00's - present: World War II Online (PC)
There have been games that I might have enjoyed more for a breif time but these are the ones that I never tire of.
