Most of my friends smoke copius amounts of ganja, so something like this happens once a month or so. I mean.. for real.. if you are a pothead.. and you cant find any weed from friends or your dealer.. give up and learn to enjoy yourself for one evening with out the shit!! You will live.. I promise. Theres nothing worse than doing nothing but trying to score some weed on a Friday night when you could actually just move on and do something fun.

damn, you hit that shit straight on. i've seen that scenario unfold dozens of times, but not with me being involved. usually what happens me and a couple of my pothead friends will head on over to a party or something. we'll all start drinking and one of them will start asking around for bud. soon, its probably a half a dozen of them looking through their phones or asking around if anybody knows anybody who they can call to see whether they know anyone with weed. it'll take 2 hours and they end up smoking someones ass weed.
and what happens is that they've isolated themselves from the party and even though they end up with weed, they have a shitty night, and want to go home early because they are tired and spent all their energy on the hunt for bud.
