how to throw knives
can anyone suggest a website or book about instructions on throwing knives?

reading anything, even the worlds best info, it will take a long time to get it right- expect months before you get really consistant results- the trick is to stand at the same distance from the target each time you throw when you start out, then after you are hitting most of the time (75%) then start varrying your distance- practice a lot, and then practice more- If it sucks at first, you arent bad at it, everyone I know, myself included was terrible at first, and this is often discouraging- btw for safety reasons, be careful about backstops, and remember that a knife can bounce back at ya- I scared the living hell outa myself early on when I threw one way too hard and had it ping off the plywood sheet the target was on and come winging past my ear....

www.throwzini.com has a pretty decent amount of information to get started. There are a few books on amazon covering the topic, and lots of other websites out there as well. Most of the information is the same. The only thing that will make a difference is practice, practice, and lots more practice.

Practice practice practice, it took me a few months to get it right cause I didn't have much free time, and don't buy cheep throwing knives, their tips will break off if there too thin, as many cheepo ones are, and they won't be balanced. I personally throw the origional Hibben's
