Why carry ?
I have always wondered this... Why do people want to carry a gun ? Either concealed or not...
I do not and have never wanted to carry a weapon, nor have I seen necessity to, or fealt like I was missing something by not. That being said, I am not closed-minded on the subject and am eager to hear the other side. Due to the fact that so many people are exteremely passionate about their Right To Bear Arms, I am certain there are extremely good agruements to be made. I have just never had the opportunity to have an educated conversation about the subject with a gun-proponent.... TFP seems like the perfect forum to do so, so please educate me and help me understand a concept that is foreign to me... |
