practice range
 

What range do you guys generally practice and hone your skills at? It makes sense to change it up but what is the max practically?

Not sure what the max would be practically, but I typically end up shooting at-

75-100 yards for rifle (perhaps 50yd if shooting off-hand with a carbine)

10-15 yards for pistol (10 more often then 15)

But I'm shooting just as much (if not more!) for fun, as for practice, so these might not be the approved training ranges listed in some "uber-tactical" training manual... :D

train the most for whatever distance you think you are most likely going to encounter when using your gun when/where it matters.
but be competent at other distances that are reasonable distances for your weapon.
