Getting rid of programs that XP can't?
Are there any free programs that can uninstall programs that XP can't? There's a few programs that I can't uninstall because it says it can't open the install.log file.

You can remove the entries from Add/Remove Programs by editing the registry.
Open regedt32.exe Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Open SOFTWARE Open Microsoft Open Windows Open CurrentVersion Open Uninstall You'll see a number of keys that correspond to software applications listed in Add/Remove Programs. Rignt-click and delete the key in question. The program files will still remain where they were installed so you'll have to remove them manually. Sometimes the install.log (or uninstall.log) file lists those file names. If you don't want to edit the registry, there are third-party apps that do the same thing.
