12" xga monitor
im looking for something around a 12" xga lcd montior to replace a old crt monitor in a machine. problem with the crt is eventualy since this machine is always at the same spot it will burn that image into the monitor. Also the crt creates alot of heat and is not good for the machine. So i want to replace it with a lcd monitor.
Now i said xga since that is the only lcd ive had experance with. The thing i like about the xga monitors is you can see them from all diffrent angles and still makeout whats on them. ive seen tft b4 and w/o the perfect angle on the monitor you seem to not be able to see whats going on with them. and there is alot of times when you will have a bad angle at this montior. So in short im looking for a 12" lcd that you can half decently see from other angles than strait on. i stuck my laptop monitor up to the monitor bay and it looked nice from all angles. and its a xga.

Umm are you sure about 12"? Seems awful small, most panels start around 14-15", smaller is likely to cost money (unusual order).
XGA is a resolution isn't it? (1024x768 iirc), what you want to maximise is the view angles which is generally unrelated to the actual resolution of the screen. Something akin to an X-black screen from Sony (XBrite from other manufacturers) normally has a not bad view angle, though most modern LCDs are pretty good (160degrees+). Personally I like viewsonic monitors and Sony however thats personal preference. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/lcd19.html 19" monitors (UK supplier) |
