I just posted about selling my PC in this sorum a few hours ago and the post seems to have dissapered?! did the admins move it someplace else?

Quite possibly. I think the mods probably frowning on using the forum as a market place.

I expected that would happen, but looked at the computer forum guidelines:

I had this happen. Go to a post of yours that you know where it is, click on your name and hit the "view other posts from "your name".
