Seeking with saved streaming video
I am using Strembox to save some streaming video. As it is windows format the default is to save in .asf This works fine except that I can't seek. Kinda lame to have to watch the whole video through to get to the good parts. Is there an easy conversion I can do to solve this minor but annoying problem? I tried to rename the filename with a .wmv extension but had the same problem. Using Windows XP pro, WMP 9 and streambox 1.0 beta 3.1

Sorry to bother, looks like I found the answer to my own question. All I had to do was index the file. I used asfindex http://guiguy.wminds.com/downloads/asfindexgui/ and it worked like a charm. Thanks anyway all!

Uh, you could have just asked me, just because I am not in the same city as you, I am still good for answers...

Yiu may have found the answer yourself, but I found this program to be useful, and I'm sure others will too.
