Price - From what I can tell, 2x512 appears to be cheaper Performance - None as far as I know, BUT dual channel needs two sticks and RAMbus needs to be paired. Also, heat spreading may be an issue as well. Replacement - Never even thought of this, but if one of the sticks crapped itself, it'd be a lot easier to replace than the one gig stick. Now, if you mean like a CF or SD card for a PDA or camera or whatever, i suppose a 1GB card would be nicer and probably a bit cheaper. |

| strangelove Location: ...more here than there... | I just changed 'card' to 'stick' in the title.  other than that ...i agree with the above ... but it also i suppose depends on how many DIMM's are on your mother board. (so, if you only have 2 slots, and *could* see wanting more than 1 gig of mem in the future ...)
