Best web bulletin software?

Hey guys,
I need to set up a web forum for a gaming website me and my friends are working on and it's been a very long time since the last time I installed a web forum on a website.

I was wondering what the best web forum software is, or rather what you reccommend and why; I'm really looking for something that is clean, skinnable, not buggy, and feature rich. Of course it has to be free. =o

A lot of people (including myself) are using WordPress. http://www.wordpress.org. It does everything you're asking, and is incredibly simple and lightweight. It's got skins up the wazoo, plugins...and it's free!
