Electrical System Simulator
I wasn't sure where to post this, but i was wondering if anyone knows of any type of software which you can build and simulate various eletrical systems and cricuits etc?
As part of finishing off my sofware engineering degree i am doing a unit in electrical engineering of some failry basic circuits and i was wanted to play around with some stuff in a simulator. Cheers :) |
Not being an "electronics person," I don't know all the details of this program, but the engineers I used to work with from time to time at my school used to use a program called Multisim. Give that a look, it seems to be pretty much exactly what you're looking for as far as I can tell.

I second using Orcad software. There was a free version in the electronic's book I used for class one time. They don't offer that one anymore, but you can get a demo from their website.

There used to be (maybe still is) a program called crocclips. It's a very simple program, but maybe you'll like it if you can find it.
