iTunes and iPod Shuffle question
Hi all, I have just purchased an iPod Shuffle and need some help with iTunes. How do I get iTunes to detect all of my mp3 files? Any help would be appreciated.

If all your MP3s are in the same folder, you can do a Ctrl + O and go to where your MP3s are, and select all the files and add 'em.
Of go tothe File menu and choose Add Folder, -- this will add all the mp3s in your folderr. There's an option under Edit/Preferences - then the advanced tab- -that will either keep your music where it is, or move it all into a nicely organized folder structure. |
You can also drag and drop your MP3's in from their folders. You can drag entire folders in. As long as they are in a format iTunes recogizes, you'll be fine. If you've got other formats, you may need a plugin.

i wish there was a way for itunes to play 3 songs then shuffle... so i could listen to a few songs from the same band then it would shuffle

You can change the shuffle option between shuffling by album or song - maybe that will help.

Nevermind, took the Shuffle back and got a 4GB iPod Mini. Sweet.
