Firefox & Downloads
Greetings All,
I have a quick question about my Firefox browser. When I click on link for a movie with the extension .avi a browser popup asks me whether I want to open it or save it to a specific location. When i click on a link for a movie with the extension .wmv it automatically opens in my WMP. Is there a way to change this so I am given the option of whether or nor to open it or save it? Just wondering and thanks for your help. |
Tools-Options-Download tab, you should be able to set it up how you want it there. Or reset it and choose again as you open files.

well if you want to open a video/music file .avi .wmv etc in your browser, then just click on the link. If you awnt to download it to a specified directory then you right click and save target as. You can always open your downloads tab and check where the file was downloaded to
