MySQL Help
 

I've just installed MySQL on an Applex OS X via the fink distribution tool - and everything seems to be working insofar as I can start the daemon and log in - however, the user I'm logging in with (just the default one) doesn't appear to have access priveledges to create a new database.

Does anyone know how I can set up a new administrative user and set my default login to have admin rights?

Any help much appreciated.

It's ok, I found the instructions laid out here told me everything I needed to know.
