Having trouble with a web site please help

not sure if any one can help but here goes

I am try tryingto sell an item on ebay (something i have done many times) but certain parts of the web site will not load. For example when i get to the part where i have to put in a descrption of my item there is no where to put it, normaly there is a html decoder to help you write one. Also when i try to email ebay for help their email category selector wont work as in i select my first topic and it wont show any others so i cant progress. The same happens with the category selection process in the selling section.

All this will probally only make sence to someone who uses ebay (i hope anyway)

I have just installed a new java jre v1.5.0 i know some of the things on ebay use java to run but i dont now enough about it to know what to change or if this is anything to do with it.

Hmm I haven't used ebay in a while, so I don't know if they use Java or ActiveX applets. Either way, have you checked your security settings to see if they allow for client-side applets to run?

Have you tried it in a different browser? Sometimes a page will look mangled in one browser and okay in another (usually FF to IE 'cause IE supports bastard code). Worth a shot.
