Trojan Horses
 

Every time i start my computer i get a trojan Delf.3 horse message and saying to scan with AVG. AVG puts it in teh virus vault. Is there any way to get rid of this thing permanently?

Ok first Disable windows system restore. To do this go to control panel -> system -> system restore tab. Now go to Windows add/remove programs and look for something called Windows SynchroAd. Remove this. Then Delete the folder called Temp on the main drive. Then run spybot, or adaware, or whatever your preferred spyware remover is. Then run your anti-virus application. Then restart. Should be gone. Good luck!

just to extend what bal said, it's best to run the virus scan in safe mode.... hit F8 when your computer passes the bios screens..
