Network Solutions, hosting and domain reg
I am considering putting up a small website that I hope will get a fair amount of traffic (maybe 300-400 hits/day).
I went to Network Solutions and checked, my desired domain name is available and they of course offer hosting. Total cost for the first year is around $50. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of hosting? How do you upload (I assume they just send me FTP access and I send up the HTML)? Thanks... |
They will often give you access to the virtual server. You will pay depending on what access' you want.
I would also tell you to look at www.godaddy.com |
I use www.powweb.com for hosting. 7.77/month and 5gb of xfer a day....as long as you're not hosing a pr0n website.
I have my domain names registered wtih NetSol, but as they near expiration, I'm trying to figure out why I'm paying them so much when godaddy is so much cheaper. anyone else who has input, I would appreciate it as well! |
my hosting company is www.axigent.net , a local provider. the place I use to register sites is www.bulkregister.com. don't use bulkregister unless you are planning on registering a bunch of sites, because there is no discount unless you do.
