Windows Media Player. Having problems the new version
Ever since I upgraded my WMP to the newest version, I can't play streaming video. I get an error report that says it doesn't want to send out the specific player's information (or something along those lines). I went into the privacy and security settings and couldn't get it to change.
Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any advice -Tim |
Trash it. Try Winamp. I did and haven't looked back.

I'm not having any problems with the new version, but you could always try the uninstall/reg clean/reinstall and see if you can get back on track with that.. as for the winamp, /shutters, i have never been able to bring my self to use it after installing it and seen that it put aol links on my system, /shutters again.

AOL owns Nullsoft...That's why the linkies. Same with Netscape, install that and you get AOL links. All you do is right click and delete. If you hate AOL and think it's the devil go with foobar, but I like Winamp better.

vlc is a nice player that can play most things out of the box, no need to download codecs.
