What are a good pair of computer speakers? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I'm looking for a decent priced pair of speakers for use with my computer. Not necessarily reference quality, but better than the terrible sounding junk that most companies are putting out.

I don't want a subwoofer, just two speakers.

The Creative or Klipsch 2.1 systems are pretty nice.

Get the 5.1 Kipsch and your house will literally shake.

Boston Accoustics makes some really good computer speakers.

Klipsch are really good.

Creative makes some good ones too.

Given the request for a pair of speakers *WITHOUT* subwoofer... I doubt a 2.1 or 5.1 speakerset will qualify.

I've heard good reports about the Creative Labs SBS250/260 series.
