Pages not working after XP install (Resolved)

Okay, I just wrote zeros to my drive and installed xp fresh, to clear up some performance issues. Now everything is working great, except 2 things. When I try to log into Yahoo! it says, "Error 999 unable to process your request at this time," and when I go to my website, www.theherk.com, it says nothing, just won't go there.

I'm worried that my internet configuration is wrong. I might be having a webserver outage and Yahoo! could be broken at the same time as me reinstalling but that sounds highly unlikely.

I'm asking 2 favors. Could you browse to www.theherk.com and tell me if it loads for you, and could you give me some ideas what could be wrong with my configuration to cause this.

I have 1M DSL with auto DNS and auto IP config. I sets itself up, and is running fine except those 2 pages.

No, does not load, but it redirects..then dies.

I have no clue, and I'm sorry.

Sweet, that is good new. It must just be some outage. Strange timing.

Geez I hope they got a backup for me, because I lost all of TheHerk's source files in the reinstall of XP. If they got wiped that is a year's worth of programming gone. Okay, I'm going to go have a nervous breakdown now.

Well, I was just able to bring up your site, but you probably knew that already.

Yes, thank you for the reply. Strangely enough, I formatted my drive at the same exact time that both Yahoo! Mail and my web server went down. Just about gave me a heart attack, but I sure was glad to see that it was just a strange coincidence.

Isn't that weird how the human mind doesn't handle coincidences well? I mean, obviously you made it to the TFP to post that subject, right? So your internet connection is clearly working, and your settings on your browser must be working... But still there's always the thought that something is horribly wrong because of one too many coincidences. Heh...
