				Poor, abandoned old computer
I found one of the really, REALLY old one-piece Macs out by the dumpster at my fiancee's apartment complex. Doesn't look visibly damaged, although the screen has such bad burn-in that you can read the menus. Says 'Macintosh SE/30' on the front. I'm not one to consign anything with a circut board to destruction unless it's totally shot, so.... Suggestions on what to do with it? Right now, I'm thinking of just stripping the hard drive out, but I don't know if I can format it and use it on a PC. Do macs use the same SCSI / IDE type drives? Or would target practice be better...? |

| Crazy Location: In a house | Well, for a bit of background on the model in question, I'll list it's details. CPU: 16MHz Ram: 1mb Date: 1989 Cannot be upgraded. At the time of sales, the unit cost $4,400 usd. $4,900 with a hard drive. So... with the little info that's there, considering it probably does not have a hdd, and even if it does... I doubt it would even break a few megs worth of space. I would say... find a nice tall building. Try and shotput the thing to another rooftop!
