Disk with unknown format
What it is, I have a propritary (old) document management system that rights data to optical disks.
I have a scsi, optical drive that will read the disks, but it is unable to read data from them due to the format How would one go about reading the format of a disk while keeping data in tact? Right now the drive i am trying to use to read the disks is in a computer with redhat 7.3 installed, but i have tried it in windows xp as well... there is very important data contained on these disks and it needs to be recovered... thanks.... |
I don't know what program.. but you'll want to use a sector editor in order to read all that stuff.

If the data is truly important, send it to a disk recovery company. Don't waste your time trying to figure it out.

The thing is i have a few of them and they want $700 a disk to do it
