Do you overclock?

Asuka's suggestion about OC'ing the video card is a definite possibility. Because that's some MAJOR artifacting, and that can result from OC'ing too far. Also, it may be a driver issue with your card. Have you updated the drivers on your video card recently? It could be a DirectX issue as well. I might be blowing smoke out of my ass on that DirectX issue, but updating it couldn't hurt either.

made any changes in your case that could effect heat?... check all the fans in your case... especially the one on your video card!

Honestly, I just opened this thread hoping to see what it looks like when a video card "shits itself." I'm not quite sure what's going on in that screen shot, but I would definately have to say it looks exactly as you have described it.

It's massive artifacting. It happens when, 1) a card overheats, 2) it's improperly overclocked, 3) directx shits itself 4) the drivers don't support the software.

Looks like a bad case of wrong drivers to me! Just download older or newer NVIDIA drivers and try those. If that doesn't work, I got no fuckin clue!

no problem man... in the mean time... try to use your comp as little as possible... and if you have to use it dont do anything 3d intensive... dont want to cause any permanent damage to your card...
