CDRW/DVD+R/RW Problems
 

Ok I have a DVD+R/W and a CDRW both are HP and both work great, ok here is the problem, I am running XP Pro Corp, I have both drives in the same IDE cable, Windows will only let me use one or the other Drive to burn to. If I want to burn to the DVD I have to go to properties->recording and select to have it as the recorder, then if I want to burn to the CDRW I have to do the same thing. Anyone know why I cant have both setup to burn.

what software are you using and what kind of things are you trying to burn?

Do you mean you want to simultaneously burn on two drives? Plain and simple, that can't be done with IDE drives...you need SCSI gear for that.

...or am I misunderstanding?
