Need some advice, looking for a portable dvd player

Im in the market for a portable dvd player.

I need advice as to which to get. Heres what im looking for. A big screen (so im not squinting), a good battery life (an additional battery would be nice too), and a reliable name.

I do a lot of bus traveling (minor leagues) and I need something to do on the bus.

Price really isnt an issue, but a decent price would be nice.

Thanks for the advice.

Panasonic, the screans are big and they are really slim.
You could always get a gameboy sp to keep you busy also.

if price really isnt an issure why not go for a laptop. I think even if it is a bit more money, it would be much more worth it.

The 12" powerbook is a nice laptop to travel with.

I went with the Toshiba SD-P2500 about a month ago. I recommend it, no complaints at all. Great-looking picture.

-8.9" screen
-Good remote
-Progressive-scan DVD play
-2 mini stereo headphone jacks
-S-video & Component video output

I was going to get a laptop to play DVDs as obviously its alot more than just a DVD-only player, but for what I needed it for (airline travel) a laptop screen is way too big, won't open all the way. They also make an optional battery good for a reported 5 hours of playtime. Be aware though that this model doesn't come with a car adapter.
*Note that the model pictured here is the SD-P2600 model, which is identical to the 2500 except the 2600 has a FlashCard slot for reading memory cards.

That looks like a great one, although the car adapter would be nice... How much was it??

Sixty Bucks

I was in a rush and had to shell out the dough, so they might be cheaper elsewhere i dont know. I know there is a 7" screen polaroid model at BestBuy that comes with a car adapter, for under $300 I believe.
