Ebay Registration?

Ok so I'm trying to register for Ebay, but when I put in all my info, it's saying I'm already a user. It can't be my email, so it has to be my address.. How do I delete my old user name? I don't remember the password, and the email is no longer in use? So I can't register?

best/easiest thing to do would be just get a new username

That's what I did. I re-registered with a diff username, but it says I'm already signed up. It doesn't say "Your Username is already in Use." Or anything. So It has to be my Address I'm guessing..

Well are you using the same address as before? Ebay will only let you set up one account per address. Deleting account from ebay is a pain in the ass...you can request your username and or password as need be...and then edit your account.

How can I request it if I don't have the old email anymore?

Delet your ebay cookie, that should fix it!

What is that going to accomplish?

I need to register for ebay. My Address is in use by an old account I made. I do NOT have the password to that account. I do NOT have the original e-mail address, therefore I can NOT retrieve said password. What do I do?

Call Ebay?

Or mabye send them an email explaining the situation. Im sure it has happened before.

losthellhound 05-21-2004 08:51 AM

I'd suggest sending them an email.. I have a feeling you'll run into a mess of trouble down the road otherwise

Yeah that's what I was going to resort to doing.. :/
