Sound issues
I just got a new video card, and I'm not sure if its just coincidence that it just started happening now, but either way, its still a problem.
It seems that my microphone is ALWAYS running. For instance, I can hear myself typing right now coming through my computer speakers. There are no programs that would require the mic to be on running in the background. I have already updated my sound card drivers, and I have tried two different sound cards. I need my microphone for teamspeak, so unplugging it is not an option. If you want to take a crack at this, feel free to drop me a line or leave your solution here. Thanks all. ![]() ICQ: 68897506 MSN: psychosocket@hotmail.com YIM: mortok2002@yahoo.com

My advice is to simply mute it. I am not sure what OS you have but on Windows, go down to the lower right where the clock is and double click on the speaker. Check the mute box and that should do it. Whenever you participate in Teamspeak, just make sure you un-mute it first.
Hope that does it! Edit: fixed spelling errors and made mental note to preview before posting.
