How to clear IE search?
So I've run some 'controversial' searches of Google in the past using Internet Explorer and I'm looking to clear the search history. I've already messed around in the internet options but can't find out how to erase it and hopefully find a setting that won't let it remember any searches. I guess something like "clear history" but for the search is what I'm looking for.
Thanks guys -T |
sounds like you want to clear your autocomplete as well as history...
tools, Internet options, content tab, autocomplete button....should be self explanatory from this point. also, under advanced tab, uncheck "use inline autocomplete" |
Great, thanks a lot! ;)

There's a lot of information on hidden data over at: Microsuck | Microsoft's Really Hidden Files (I love their URL). You wouldn't believe where they hide their information.
