Resolution problems
 

Right now its back at its normal 1280x1024 but for some reason every time I shut down, it goes down to 1280x768 and it goes right to 1600x1200 nothing in between.

It's happened twice already but I easily got rid of it by system restoring I also did that because the first time I thought it might have been something I installed... obviously not.

I recently installed Rage 3D (I have a Radeon 9800 non pro) so maybe that is it but not sure. Anyone have any idea?

no real ideas here, maybe run a spyware checker just in case.

did you check for any driver updates for your video card?

what OS are you using?
