Video problem
Had something start happening today when I try to watch DVD's on my computer... the video is going black for a few seconds on and off in different parts of the movie. The audio keeps going, and the control panel interface is still good, as is everything else, just the video itself.
Noticed it throughout kill bill, in different scenes, PLUS in the main menu (where I have to move the mouse around fast to be able to see anything). Also happens in the main menu for matrix revolutions... is REALLY freaking annoying, now I have to try to fix it. This is all on a laptop btw... I need opinions of whether this would be the graphics adaptor, or the dvd drive itself.... and if possible, how to fix it. Let me know what info you need to diagnose the problem.

updated the video card driver to it's most current already... will try to get a more recent dvd playback program...
video is also freezing up fairly often now if I try to play a 3d world game, this all started last night really, since it froze for the first time playing, and I had to reboot the computer to be able to do anything. video card has taken alot of strain on this laptop - I play EQ on it. I'm thinking the card might be fried.... since it keeps freezing when I try to play eq, and now this dvd playing problem. hope Everquest doesn't void the warranty ![]()
