Wireless problems

Does anyone know why I would be able to get on most websites with my wireless router and then a few select sites I cannot load or only partially load. The two sites that I continually have problems with loading is Ebay and it only partially loads Yahoo. Just wondering what your first thoughts on it may be.

thanks,

could be some ad stopping firewall settings?

I'd say it sounds like you got some sort of spyware/adware that redirects your link to their site before getting to yahoo or ebay. (i.e. one of those annoying search bars that magically appeared).

I'll be finding out more information about what setting was changed tonight. My friend who is Chinese probably had one of the settings messed up and I couldn't look at them because it was password protected. I spoke with him about it last night that I was trying to adjust the setting and today every site loads like a charm...so I am guessing last night while I was sleeping he made some correction. I'll let you know what it was as soon as I find out.

Thanks,

Off topic, but what does him being chinese have to do with anything? Just curious.

seriously, people. if you're gonna ask for help, at least tell the people what the fuck kind of router you're running, what your network setup is (was), and what equipment you're running.

without that info, a request for help is utterly useless. i'm closing this thread because it's pointless. if you still need help, start a new thread with information so those who know can actually help.
