Taking Images off of a live streaming video
Hi,
I would love to capture some images off a live streaming video broadcast on the internet, in windows media v9 format. How do I do that? |
i only know the hard way... there's bound to be applications that make this much easier...
whilst viewing said broadcast, notify the girl of your intentions. once agreement has been reached, hit the print screen key on your keyboard. now open up photoshop (or whatever photomanipulation program you have), open a new image, and hit ctrl-v (paste). crop the surrounding desktop from the image and save the file as a jpeg. now who can do it better than me? |
A ha---me too me too!!!
Ive been trying to do this for like a week. All progs that say do it, dont |
Depends if it's Windows format or Real format.
There was a recorder for Real media available on the net, but Real threatened to sue them and it was pulled. It's no longer available officially, and I can't possibly recommend that you use Google to search for sites that may still offer it. That would be bad. For Windows media, try WMrecorder. Check it out at http://www.wmrecorder.com/index.php I'm sure there's plenty of alternatives out there. Mr Mephisto |
get a copy of HiDownload. It's like the old Streambox VCR.

snagit works for screen shots as well as vid. capture
|
I take a screenshot with snagit or printscreen and its just a BLACK screen no-matter what I do?
Whats up with that? |
