K-Lite
 

i installed K-lite full version which came with Media Player Classic...

i already had Media Player V9 installed...

it seems that with Classic set as a default (and can't be changed - packaged with k-lite) v9 won't work...

the media when played in V9 - videos - the appearance looks like waves flowing down the screen - all herky jerky - and some applications wouldn't play at all...

had this problem before???

have you tried to deleat and reinstall K-lite?

1. Right click on a particular media file
2. Select "Open With" option
3. Select "Choose Program ... "
4. Select "Media Player V9" then checkmark "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file"

Hope this works

how bout just delete klite and use ares or winmx instead.

klite is a piece of shit now. Can't even get genuine results.

Klite is good for a number of things, especially when time is a factor, and genuine results do exist you just have to try a bit harder.

try getting klite from www.oldversion.com. The version on that site works perfect for me when viewing in Windows media player. Comes with some nice tools too.

the only prob. i`ve had is with there mega-codec , stops my pvr dead. i`m not sure but you should be able to pull the older media player out , using add/remove?

I recently came upon Bearshare.....seems really nice and I found a song that I tried about 10 times on K-Lite and got the RIAA version, once on Bearshare and got it. Have not gotten a bad one yet

it is very hard to get a non-corrupt song of klite nowadays =/

i've taken to using soulseek a bit lately, requires a lot more patience, but so far so good
